Good afternoon everyone,
Posted on the Troop Website as of this afternoon is the 2013 Voyager Bay Summer Camp Packet. In it you will find everything you need to know about summer camp this year, including the forms, cost, dates that paperwork is due, and merit badge offerings. Please review this as our timetable has been shortened by the date change, and we will be attempting to get all of the paperwork back on or before May 20th this year. Steve S will be contacting each Scout and leader with an individual web link that will be used for registering for classes. If anyone has any questions, please call or email me and I'll be happy to help.
In addition, we are still seeking to fill a couple of camp positions, if you have an interest in any of these, please let me now:
Activities Director: supervises all of the afternoon and evening activities.
Campfire coordinator: Works with the boys to ensure that each campfire has been set up properly, is emcee'd, and that the skits are appropriate and entertaining.
Church Services: each year on Sunday we hold a Scouts Own church service just before lunch. Someone is needed to coordinate and lead this service for the boys and leaders.
Last, it has been proposed that we hold a make up work weekend at Voyager Bay on June 8-10th. Anyone interested in attending, please let me know prior to May 20th.
